The Powerhockey Cup is the official power wheelchair floor hockey tournament of the North American PowerHockey Association (NAPHA) featuring teams representing both the United States and Canada.
The first Powerhockey Cup was held in 2004 in Minneapolis, MN and was played every two years until 2018. The Powerhockey Cup tradition came to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, the Powerhockey Cup returns! This is the first Powerhockey Cup since 2018 and the Flyers PowerPlay first time hosting the event since 2016.
Five teams are participating in this year’s Powerhockey Cup: Michigan Mustangs, Powerhockey Ottawa, Toronto Toros, and two Philadelphia Flyers PowerPlay teams, Team Black and Team Orange.
The Powerhockey Cup is played under the rules and regulations of the NAPHA. View the NAPHA official tournament rule book.
